boys - Children’s Lives Matter – Horrifying Stories Of Mutilated, Murdered And Missing SA Children

Children in South Africa are under attack of enormous and most evil proportions. If they are not raped at school by teachers or fellow pupils or security guards, they go missing from our homes, and unfortunately some parents find them dead.

It’s heartbreaking that the mutilated bodies of two boys, both 10 years-old, were found on Thursday night in a swimming pool in someone’s home.

Onalenna Molehabangwe and Gontse Cholo went missing on Tuesday from their home.

It is understood that were allegedly kidnapped after being lured with potato chips by unknown people travelling in a Volkswagen Polo. Police have not arrested anyone. The boys’ families are going through unbearable pain, one we can never imagine.

And in another sad case, the parents of 16-year-old Matlhomola Moshoeu in Coligny in North West might not have been happy about the sentence given to their son’s killers, but jail time they will do. It’s understandable, the parents are grieving and no prison stint will ever bring their beloved son back to life. Pieter Doorewaard and Phillip Schutte were sentenced to 20 years in prison for killing the teenager after accusing him of stealing sunflowers.

And the search for three missing girls from Western Cape has not stopped. Mampho Mgqwaki (15) from Kuyasa, Linathi Titshala (9) from Delft and Jeneva Diergal (8) from Klawer are still missing.

Mampho was last seen more than a month ago, while Linathi disappeared after leaving her grandmother’s home in Cork Tree street in December. The mentally and physically challenged Jeneva girl went missing in January while playing outside her aunt’s home. Police have appealed for help to find these little girls.
