This weekend is the final voter registration weekend and elections draw closer. The 702 Breakfast Show plans to talk to all three major political parties about youth and how they are approaching this key constituency.
First up is the ANC Youth League.
Bongani Bingwa chats to Mlondi Mkhize, ANCYL national spokesperson, about the upcoming elections and the youth vote, given the argument that so many are unemployed and feel politically disengaged.
Bongani poses the question that the leadership of the ANC Youth League has failed the young people of South Africa.
“The youth league may not have met all the expectations of young people but it does not mean it has done nothing.”
